Move, drink water, and be out in the sun. Now this last part...it's very important; identify your triggers and create a gratitude journal. Make also a trigger journal.
Once you identify your triggers, you can work on those weak areas and strengthen your experience with yourself and in turn other people. It forges your character.
I'll give you an example from my own life.
Today I got mad. I vented to my grandmother within ear shot of the person. i looked at this person with daggers in my eyes and then I averted my gaze when she was asking me direct questions because I didn't want to feel angry. I know I should not vent to others about my problems. God is the ultimate helper. Through 2nd of Timothy Verse 24 I learned that and I quote, "Edy you can't be fighting with people child. You a representative of my peace. I know this lady; don't worry 'bout her stupid comment be kind to her that is all you need to worry about. Teach life because I called you to use your gifts and speak life and edify your immediate community. I said gently instruct her. I will do the rest to get in her treatment towards you. Instilled in me us ability to move your body freely, self regulate, hope, play, relax, and care and nurture my body.
I talked about what I did wrong. Next time someone bothers me I am leading with understanding. And just setting a boundary. No. No y punto. No a que? Just no. Dejame vivir en paz corazon que eso no se le dice a la gente.
Anyways, download my digital journal to help release anger.
Repeatable actions and things I highly recommend you do; I got on my knees and prayed. I told God exactly how I feel and I asked him to work on my character. The real proud moment is I am trying to control myself and not others. I watched anger management videos. I chose to understand. I lifted myself up with affirmations. I sprinted in a remote location by myself. I took a break I did handstands and front limbers and my kick ups are getting better. I watched a beautiful sunset and played with my dog.
Why did this lady hurt me? Because she is hurting and bored. That is okay. I decide my schedule. And I choose not to participate in that energy and be more cautious about sharing my whereabouts or my eating habits. How am I going to get angry at her if she is knocking my eating habits that I can always improve if she is speaking negatively about her body and is in a worse position than me? I have to breathe, prepare, and allow God and yoga breathing the grace to speak to her. I have to start helping more around the house. And I have to start working intentionally on my body aesthetic if these comments are harming me-I am grateful for teh fuel to grow my glutes, chest, and athletic abilities and endurance.
I just share this to be transparent and relatable. I know body shaming is a very relatabel subject to many people. I know being called out for eating food you love is not fun. I know I have to get better and understand the person is living a process.
I encourage anyone reading this to discover your triggers, work on your inner peace, and become uncontrollable. Serve your purpose gladly. Don't worry 'bout the noise. May the peace and understanding of God follow everyone.
